Teaching/Learning with Technology Teams 2005-2006

For the first two years e-train focused on interest groups as the vehicle to increase the use of technology in the instruction of University faculty.  Last year and again this year we are forming teams consisting of P-12 and University faculty.  Each of these teams has chosen a goal related to the integration of technology into instruction and e-train advocates have chosen personal goals.

Key to the success of these projects is a dedicated team leader.  Team leaders will:

  • coordinate and encourage communication within the team and with Leroy and Pam

  • help schedule team meetings

  • monitor and report team progress

Archives

e-train will continue to conduct interest group sessions.  These sessions will focus on needs identified at the opening session and needs identified by the teams.

The following table lists these teams, team goals, individual goals and contact information.  If you were unable to attend the opening e-train symposium, we invite you to contact one of the existing teams and consider joining or to suggest the formation of another team.  Each team should consist of at least one University and one P-12 faculty member (even better would be the inclusion of teacher education and arts and sciences faculty).  If you determine that you would prefer to change to a different team or participate in more than one, please let us know.  To join a team, volunteer as a team leader, or suggest a new team topic, please email us at admin@etrainexpress.com

Check attached meeting minutes for information about group activities, goals and future meeting times.  You do not need to be listed as a group member to attend the group's meetings and participate in their activities.  Please let us know if you want to join a group.
