Fall Symposium 2003

Hello and WELCOME ABOARD!

The Symposium was held on September 20th, 2003 in TPH 129 on Western's campus.  To see what you missed or review the day, check out the agenda. 

During the day we:

• reviewed the goals and accomplishments of e-train from 2001 to the present.  Use this file for explorer or this one for netscape.

• introduced the new e-train advocates

• conducted a survey of advocates' technology strengths, weaknesses and needs.  (See survey results)

• reviewed examples of the integration of technology into instruction and ways of accomplishing the integration (slides to come)

• saw a variety of ways e-train advocates have used technology to enhance their instruction.  Many thanks to the advocates who shared their wonderful work!  If you missed this you should find time to talk with these advocates.

• set individual goals

• formed teams and set team goals

• gave all new advocates in attendance a PDA

• helped experienced advocates with mini-grant applications
