Hello and WELCOME ABOARD! 
We welcome you to the maiden voyage of the E-Train Express© as we kickoff our technology grant initiative with the

E-Train Technology Institute

The Institute will be held on AUGUST 8, 2001 at the  Bowling Green/Warren Co. Convention Center (Plaza Hotel).  The day's agenda is as follows: 

Breakfast and social hour:7:30 - 8:30 am

Opening Remarks: 8:30 - 9:00

Session One - 9:00 - 11:30

Peggy Kelly

Peggy is the codirector of the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) project, coauthored the NETS, and will be discussing:

  • Standards for using technology in learning and teaching.
  • How technology should be used throughout the curriculum.
  • Educational technology support standards.
  • Systems, access, staff development, and support services essential to support the effective use of technology.
  • Standards for student assessment and evaluation of technology use.
  • Various means of assessing student progress and evaluating the use of technology in learning and teaching.
